NCABLO Announces Details about their Fall Conference

The 2013 NCABLO Annual Conference will be held Oct 9th – Oct 11th at the Blockade Runner Resort in Wrightsville Beach. 
Conference registration fee is $100.00 per participant.  Please register by the deadline of September 16th.

The group room rate is $115.00 per night plus tax, which includes a fully cooked breakfast. 
Hotel Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 1-800-541-1161 (group code 11873) or can be made online through the group reservations form. The discounted rate will be available until the room block is filled, after which the rate will increase to $130.00 per night plus tax, breakfast included.

At this year's conference, we will be expanding on the break out session concept instituted last year.  Any suggestions for topics for these sessions is welcome.  We would also like to extend a request for volunteers to host or co-host a session or two.  Please let us know if you would like to be included as a host.

Wednesday morning will feature an Introductory Workshop on Privilege License Taxation starting at 9am.  This workshop is especially beneficial for new members.  Please indicate if you plan to attend this workshop on the registration form.
The formal conference will begin Wednesday at 1:00 pm, with Chris McLaughlin and possibly another speaker for Wednesday. 
Thursday will be the breakout sessions and we will open the business meeting late Thursday afternoon to discuss the certification program that the Education Committee has been putting together.  Handouts outlining the program will be available in your registration packets.
Friday morning we will conclude the business meeting and have an open panel discussion.  The conference will close around noon on Friday.  
We will have a more detailed agenda once everything is set in place and we have definite topics for the break out sessions.

We are inviting vendors to join us this year at the conference. If you know of a software or printing or collections vendor who might be interested in participating this year, please either forward our contact information to them or send their contact information to Becky or Fran and they will gladly approach them about joining us.
